Using v11.1 and network manager, I find that when I come out after the screen saver has been activated I loose all wireless connectivity. The only way to get it back appears to be to either log out and back in, or restart the PC. It appears to try to log back in on it’s own, but fails and requests my user & password - over and over.
Any ideas as to how to get it to log back in on it’s own, or better still remain logged in while in in screen saver mode?
That certainly does not happen to me. Here wireless stays on.
You need to provide a lot more information. Gnome or KDE? If KDE,
which version? What wireless driver? How have you set your screen
saver - does it log you off? If so, that would kill your connection.

I don’t use Gnome and have no idea how it is configured.
