wireless driver install

I am trying to switch over to linux but it seems much harder than windows xp. I have downloaded drivers before on xp and it just installs them and a reboot later my wireless card worked on my dell latitude 600. This is and older laptop and I bought a wireless card off of ebay that was supposed to work with the card RALINK WIRELESS G PCMCIA WIFI CARD VISTA/LINUX but it did not find it. I went to the site given Ralink corp.
and attempted to download a driver to the laptop. Driver given on linksus section was PCI/mPCI/CB (RT2500

Any help would be appreciated.

Before installing any driver, read up the stickies from the openSUSE wireless forum:
Wireless - openSUSE Forums

Thanks I found what I needed under the Network subforum wireless. I just overlooked the blue wireless for subforum.
