Hi:
I’m having this problem, when I close the top of my notebook and later re open I find that my wireless connection got disconnected, which is very annoying since I can’t make large downloads… any ideas? Thanks!

This is an option that can be changed in the power settings. It’s most likely set to put your computer to sleep when you close the lid. Do you see a power icon down by the clock? If you right click that you should see preferences, and then you’ll have a bunch of options about when or if you want your computer to sleep. If you’re doing downloads, you don’t want it to ever go to sleep.
You can also access the same thing through the Control Center, by going to the main menu and selecting control center. Then click on “look and feel” on the left. Then select screensaver. From that dialog, you should have a “power management” button where you’ll have the same power options I described above.
