wireless disable in network manager on 11.1

how do I enable my wireless in network manager?

see if the driver is installed or try
ifconfig (wlan interface) up

& please,DO not double post and have you seen the stickies in the wireless section ???

Andy

yes it’s installed . but on network manager it’s disabled

sorry for double post. after I click post first time and left when I back it still show same screen . though I didn’t click the post .

what is this stickies ? where ? I don’t see any

try right click on the networkmanager icon → deactivate Wireless lan → enable it

or see in the BIOS if WLAN is diabled

sorry my fault . found the problem.
on my notebook there’s a switch/button for enable/disable wireless . previous version of opensuse (even the beta of 11.1) seem to ignore this function . somehow this function is enable in 11.1

thanks for the help

When you go to a specific subforum you will find at the top of the list of threads a few threads that ‘stick’ there. They are important to read first before asking questions that are already solved there or to find out what information you need to proivide when you start a thread about a problem.
