Wireless Configuration

Hello,

I am still new to Linux, and I would like a tutorial on how to configure my network settings. I am running the latest Tumbleweed version. My kernel is up to date, but I am having trouble with configuring the network properly (it works, but not properly, another words: I have to disconnect and reconnect after time to get it working again).

Thanks,

It seems from your description that you did already something. But you failed to tell what you did e.g. in YaST > Network Devices > Network Settings or otherwise. Also if you use wicked or Network Manager. If you use DHCP or not. In short, when you think that people here are clairvoyant, I can assure you that that is not the case

hcvv,

I am using a DHCP, and using the Network Manager (not wicked).
I would like to note, that someone else before tried to help me, but unfortunately failed (he helped me to update to the latest version of tumbleweed, but then he could not find any other solution to fix this problem.
My Theory: Is that during installation I did not configure the network, and now it is still the same way, not configured properly.
What I tried: Tried to reinstall, but failed. Because the computer does not see my USB CD reading device.

Thanks,
