When your wireless connection is disabled by hardware, there isn’t anything you can do in your running software to fix that.
You need to look for a switch or button on your laptop that turns the WiFi radio on and off.

thanks,very simple
i will try it as i go home

In general for wifi, mobile broadband, and BT devices, (soft block/ hard block) status can be checked with the ‘rfkill’ utility. The’ rfkill’ package may need to be installed first.

/usr/sbin/rfkill list

Hard blocking is controlled by a switch, button, or key combination, while soft blocking can be controlled via rfkill itself.
