Have you used the “Manage Connections” menu item of the applet to create the
connection? Supplying the key to the pop-up does not work.
Are you using WEP? If so, you need to specify a key, not a phrase.
well i used “the manage connections” configure the connection not to create it.
i use WEP and mac filtering, i turned off mac filtering still didn’t work and then i converted the passphrase to the HEX key don’t know if that should work but it didn’t
Turn off WEP and Mac filtering on the router, see if you can make a connection.
Which version of KDE4 are you running? Did you perform updates after install?
Well i turned off WEP and mac filtering as you said and i could connect to the internet so but now the problem is that i don’t have any security !
and i’m using KDE 4.3.1
