Hello,
I have a curious problem.
It’s on an Acer one with ar5001 wireless card, perfectly working with windows 7 and recently with openSUSE 12.2.
BUT. after upgrade to 12.3, the card do not work correctly anymore. The card works, all the networks are seen, I can connect to my box one (WPA personal), but it do not authenticate.
I’m sure the password is good, there are only standard letters.
sometime it seems to work for a small time, then connection fails again with the same error.

As usual, when you suspect a kernel regression, you try newer code to see if it
is fixed.
I recommend that you install the compat-wireless package.
