Wine not working after system upgrade

I modified the repositories according to you, installed the wine package, but it didn’t help. I really don’t know what’s could be wrong. I can’t even run winecfg.:expressionless:

You say you changed your repo list, but you did not post it. You seem to think that you did it correct and that inspection by others is not needed. The following advice is based on you having done it correct.

It is quite possible that you have some “wrong” package from one of those now removed repos, only installing wine may not be enough to repair things. So better do a

zypper dup

to change packages to the versions in your present repos.

I’m sorry, I just didn’t have access to my Suse computer to post outputs. I did “zypper dup” just after repositories change, but It wont helped.

Anyone? :X

Not sure what else to advise here, except that it may well be NVIDIA related. I’ve seen similar posts…

https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1125427-start-0.html

A bug report may be required.

Thanks for the tip, I reinstalled NVIDIA drivers, now wine works just fine like before. I think I may have had the wrong drivers installed, due to the wrong repositories.

Glad to read of your resolution.
