Hi,
I have games that I own like Morrowind 3 elders scroll, when I install these games with wine it tells me unload debugger error. I understand that this is reverse enginering copy right protection stuff, but is their any work-arounds for this? I own the game I should be able to play on any platform that I want. any help thanks ahead of time
I’ve the same with FS9. It’s a bug hopefully to be corrected soon. I alsway try the newest wine version.

M$, PlayStation, Wii and several others believe you can’t purchase and
own the right to play it wherever or however you want…
so, there are some nice free and open source games which impose no
such limits on your rights…give them a try and leave the
ring-in-the-nose games behind, in your toy box and move forward to
freedom…
or, run them natively in the game systems (Win9x, XP, Vista, Win7)
they were specifically designed for…
see, the ‘free’ in Free Open Source Software (FOSS) doesn’t mean only
no purchase required, it means free to use, share, exchange, improve etc…

are u fooling or can you post any evidence? I don’t think M$ etc. can control where their apps are being installed. rotfl!

they certainly try through Digital Rights Management, registrations
required to run networked games, and etc to keep you from (for
example) playing XBox games on your atom laptop running Linux, or your
amd server running OS/2, or your ppc Mac, or or or or or…
or, perhaps you know how to do all of that legally…tell us about it…
