Hi What is this “Wine”? I know I could google search and get my answers but I wanted the answers from the users of wine and from a genuine source.

And what exactly does it provide me with? Using wine can I install any applications meant for windows? And can I install games I have on windows to Linux using wine?

And apart from that how do I install games on linux. oops more correctly, Where do I get games for linux and how do I install them?

First, wine is a program that will allow you to run certain games and apps on linux, second if you want games for linux look at linux games on google and it will bring up some nice sites
the other way to get a lot of games is to opem the software manager in yast and type in games this will bring up a nice list of games to install.
