Wine 1.3.33 fails to install

For some odd reason, wine-32bit 1.3.33 from the OBS Emulators:Wine repository fails to install with the error “cpio: link failed - Too many links”. wine-32bit 1.3.30 from OBS Emulators works fine, but it’s already more than a month old… And that repository doesn’t have a directory for openSUSE 12.1 yet, too. Any ideas about what is up with that? I’m using openSUSE 12.1 KDE here.

I have wine from

Index of /repositories/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_12.1

It’s fine

Nope, checked again, still fails for me:

Subprocess failed. Error: RPM error:error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/lib/wine/fakedlls/wlanapi.dll;4eca848c: cpio: link failed - Too many links
error: wine-32bit-1.3.33-2.1.i586: install failed
error: wine-32bit-1.3.30-117.4.i586: erase skipped

Nevermind I gave them a nudge

All right, it’s fixed now (and pulled in wine-mp3, too)! Thanks.

I still wonder - WHAT is the problem when this happens? I experience it too, right now - and I’ve seen it before in wine packages. Is there something with wine that makes this happen quite frequently? Is it a packaging thing, if so, what? Anyone know?

Just curious (and of course wondering if there is a work-around or a way to fix it)
