I’d like to play counter strike or devil may cry 3 special edition…is that going to work?

I’ve already entered the CD-game and it’s not recoqnized. why?
Can’t linux open those game’s files?

Gaming in linux is rather shaky, not all games may work.
Its not really our fault though, and Wine can only do so much

Install wine from YaST. If it’s installed open the command line (in GNOME called gnome-terminal, in XFCE terminal, in KDE Konsole) and type:

winecfg

.
Under the Drives tab set the patch for you CD drive (it’s under /media/).
Good luck.

ps.:and yes, Linux(WINE) can open those game files.
