In kde or Gnome?
You must have a task manager in the panel
Right click in kde4 and go to task manager settings. Make sure ‘Only Show Tasks form the current Desktop’ is checked, or whatever setup you require.
Drag the dotted vertical little bar on the left side of your icons to the right…
That’s all.
You probably removed the taskmanager from the panel. Right click panel, unlock widgets, add widget, pick Task Manager, and it’s back on the panel.
Wow. 3 strikes - I’m OUT!!!
I do Gnome desktop, not kde. Not sure where Gnome config is…
Dotted vertical line is in the same place as my minimized windows - Twilight Zone (I’ve seen it in other distros’ taskpanel)
I did the rt click gig through a few different options, and no options lead to addition of task manager.
Help? :\
Solved.
Reinstalled for corruption (bad ramstick).
Now got to start again. :\
