Windows and OpenSUSE options are not there in boot menu, only USB option is there

Hello there,

I was a Leap 42.2 user for a long time and today I decided to switch to Tumbleweed.

My partitions were like this during installation:

Name size type mount point description
sda1 100mb efi boot /boot/efi this was the windows one
sda2 150mb system res idk
sda3 350gb ntfs windows 10 partition
sda4 450gb ntfs data drive for windows
sda5 500mb windows related another windows related
sda6 75gb xfs /home home paritition
sda7 55gb btrfs / root
sda8 5gb swap /swap swap

IMPORTANT: When I started the installation I was following this: https://tweakhound.com/2015/11/04/dual-boot-opensuse-leap-and-windows-10-uefi/
Here when I tried to edit the EFI Boot partition I didn’t have “/boot/efi” mount point. Idk why. There was only “/boot”. So I manually typed “/boot/efi”.
Another thing I want to mention is that there was Windows 10 recovery partition of size 20gb created by ASUS, I deleted that too.

This is what I had given, but in between it said some error and I had to restart the installation. I didn’t have to do the partitioning all over again as it detected what I wanted with a bit of difference.
It said in the final description like this:
sda1 will be “BIOS Grub” instead of “EFI boot”(I ignored assuming it knew what it was doing)
sda6 will be home with xfs
sda7 will be btrfs with root
sda8 will be swap

I clicked next and the installation was successful.

But when it restarted there was nothing! It booted into the USB again. I restarted again and went to boot options by pressing F2(Asus ROG 551). In the boot menu it showed nothing but “Transcend” and “Matabishi(or something)” thats all.

I booted into the USB and installed again but this time when I opened the partition manager it was like this.

Name size type mount point description
sda1 100mb BIOS Grub this was the windows one
sda2 150mb system res idk
sda3 350gb ntfs windows 10 partition
sda4 450gb ntfs data drive for windows
sda5 500mb windows related another windows related
sda6 75gb xfs /home home paritition
sda7 55gb btrfs / root
sda8 5gb swap /swap swap
sda9 99mb EFI Boot

So I changed sda1 to EFI Boot and deleted sda9 and everything and made it like the first table.
And I installed again but no luck so far. These are the current images.
*Note: All info above is based on my memory during installation which can be trusted to certain extent.

This is the bootmenu:

When remove the USB drive and restart I’ll get this:

When I open expert partitioner I’ll get this:

The suggested partition is this:

Please help me with this. I can’t open my laptop at all.

You booted TW installation medium in legacy BIOS mode instead of UEFI mode. Now you have to recover Windows boot by booting from Windows DVD and then try to install TW making sure to select UEFI boot. I presume firmware removed or disabled “invalid” boot menu entries which referred to ESP you destroyed.
