If you want to spend time watching You can watch it from the start.:sarcastic:
If you want to jump to openSuse 11.2, it’s the last part.** ENJOY** the show.lol!
Interesting …
I noticed at about 49 minutes just before they showed the window 7 performance monitor, that they showed the disk space. Did anyone notice 1.7TB free of 467GB total!!! (bottom line) and 0.4GB free of 284GB total on C: Wow! a sleek 284GB OS that can make 467GB grow to more than 2TB. Then cpu performance shows enormous fluxuations 60% to 100% and he was just moving the mouse. I just got to run out and get this new system.:sarcastic:
Yeah, I ran Windows 7 a fair amount of late, for various reasons, but now I’m thinking of giving the upgrade to my Sister, as I can’t see myself running it, as OS 11.2 blows 7 away!
Seen almost exactly this !! Created a 40 GB virtual disk, installed W7 Ultimate. During install W7 said it had 1,76 TB free out of 58GB. After install 22GB is consumed, it still says 35GB free. When I look at the size of the virtual disk it’s 40GB.
Nicest thing of W7 was to remove it: openSUSE 11.2 removed the VDI from a new ext4 partition in seconds ;)…
I hereby state that I will NOT use or support W7.
I am running windows 7 threw virtualbox on my 11.2 system. It seems like it is a LOT better than vista, and a bit better than xp.
I must say tho, 11.2 blows them all away by about ten fold, what a beautiful creation.
Windows is now just an emulation dream of microsoft, never will it grace my computer as my host OS
Being new to Linux, I am about to find out. I do agree though the Windows 7 is a lot more stable than Vista. I haven’t had much lagging.
On the other hand, I can’t see any version of Microsoft having less overhead and hardware requirements than Linux for the foreseeable future.
