Will 13.1 have better MTP/Android support?

First up; a big thank you to everyone involved in making openSUSE such a phenomenal OS. Both me and my wife have been happily running 12.3 64 bit KDE on both a laptop and a desktop since launch, and it has always been fantastic and a joy to use. We couldn’t be happier with it!

The only slight blight on it has been plugging in the odd Android device to transfer files back and forth. This has never really worked very well for some reason on 12.3, despite following various guides and info. So my question is, will the advent of openSUSE 13.1 bring with it improved support for accessing your Android devices and the transferring of files to and fro?

Thanks again!

MTP support is better than ever

Then that is really fantastic news! Thanks for letting me know.

We’re going fully openSUSE here for the next release. It’s going to suit the missus as it’s long term release, and it’s going to suit me as I’m switching to it as my main OS. Can’t wait.
