OKAY GUYS…
So i was having this problem with my wifi and it got fixed with the help of my forum friends…
and let me explain to you how so that somebody will get the right help.
So i was using opensuse 13.2 kde desktop in my dell vostro 2520
and i was having broadcomm inc. drivers and all that stuff
The problem was wifi was working perfectly in my windows 8 partition and not on opensuse 13.2, indicating that something regarding opensuse 13.2 is not right.
Now i had done some research and found that it is possibly due to the propritory policy of linux operating systems.
Now according to one of my friends in opensuse forums (i’m sorry i don’t remember the name of my friend) i figured it out that i shall add packman repo in opensuse repositories…which can be done smoothly.
Now after adding it all you need to do is install broadcom-wl and broadcom-wl-desktop (depending upon which kind of driver u have) and then couple of other drivers which will be available to download from broadcom’s site.
Now after that just restart your system and there u go…wifi is on.
