My wifi disconnects when laptop sleeps in OpenSuse
Windows does not do this

It is my understanding that the WiFI must disconnect when the computer
sleeps. Else it would be using battery. I certainly would report as a
bug if it remained working when sleeping.
So nothing is wrong, it is doing that by correct design.
