Wifi crashes on browsing or transferring files on Samsung S8 through KDEConnect

Dear folks,

I have a weird issue with KDEconnect and Samsung Galaxy S8 phone needing your help to diagnose.

In a very long time, every time I browse or transferring files through KDE Connect with my Galaxy S8 phone, the wifi of my laptop crashes and restarts. But it seems no problem when doing those operations with my Nexus 5 phone. I have reported a bug #1132434](https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1132434) but had difficulties to diagnosed the problem.

Here is the report from dmesg while the problem happened. I am using a ThinkPad T470s laptop with openSUSE Tumbleweed installed with KDE Plasma desktop. The phone and the laptop OSes are up-to-date. The wireless adaptor is an “Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 8265”.

Has anyone else experienced similar issue? How could I diagnose the problem?

All inputs are welcomed here. TIA.

Regards,
Haoxian

In a more recent version of KDEconnect for Android I suddenly had to set permissions for storage access, which opened a screen where I had to add both the internal memory and the sdcard. After this it works as expected.

Yeah, I have noticed the new permission requests. If I recall correctly, That my using of KDE Connect with Samsung S8 crashes the wifi connection of my laptop happened before this. I googled around but read nothing similar. So I am confused.
