Why ucode-amd (Microcode updates) gets updates so rarely in Leap?

Per contra to “ucode-intel”.

This package contains the microcode files used by AMD CPUs.

Why should there be more? are you missing something? I am completely missing the essence of your question.

With Leap I am getting frequent updates for ucode-intel package.
Updated ucode-amd package is available for kernel:stable repo, but not for Leap.
Maybe this is not a problem - I can get microcode updates with BIOS update.
I simply asking: why we have such difference?
