Why the update on tumbleweed want to install gnome?

I just tested it here. I didn’t have i3, but I installed it normally, and then uninstalled it with

sudo zypper rm --cleans-deps i3

Everything worked without removing sway. When trying to remove waybar, it uninstalls sway as well.

In cli, I don’t know how to solve this, but in Myrlyn I was able to remove only waybar, because when it opens a window asking if I want to uninstall the other packages as well, I can select the “break” option. And when I accepted, it uninstalled only the specific waybar package.

myrlyn? never heard of it, will check it out!

alsto, thanks, at least it isn’t just me having this issue, is there somewhere with issues or bug tracker related to zypper for me to check the issues/bugs?
