Harlequin was an old game on the Amiga. There was a demo of it on the cover disc of the first CU Amiga magazine I bought back in (I think) '92. 501 is a reference to an Underworld tune from their first album, dubnobasswithmyheadman, in which vocalist Karl Hyde is rambling on about something to do with his Levi 501s!
