Why does Yast close automatically?

Hi, I just upgraded from openSUSE 11.0 to 11.1.

There is a minor issue that is puzzling me:
After installing packages with Yast2, the program would always ask me whether I want to install additional ones, but it doesn’t do that anymore now. Can I change this?

Thanks in advance,

homoludens

It’s not an issue. It’s a new feature. Some don’t like it - some do.:\

uh-oh, i suspected something like that. >:( is there no way to change this setting? i’ve been searching for a yast customization box, but in vain so far.

I’m not sure there is. I have not looked into it.

there appears to be no way to customize or save settings for Yast from
within Yast

Suse 11.1 x64, Kde 4.2beta (unstable repo), Opera 9.x weekly

Hi. I too hate this new feature. You can vote for the bug on bugzilla, I did. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=421660

supertimorplusfort, thanks for the bugzilla link.

I was wondering the same thing, now I know. I open YaST and start the software install from there so I can start again without doing the whole logging in again.

It’s annoying when 1st setting up, but later for a quick install, it could be handy.
