im not home but I’d like to know out of curiosity,
specs:
gtx 1060
r7600x
I use the integrated radeon card on my CPU for output, its more stable than my nvidia card. So I didn’t notice when i updated but i think i went from kernel 6.11.3 to 6.11.5
At some point today i played a wideogame and noticed kinda terrible performance and checked nvidia-smi only to see some error message about it not being able to connect to my device.
My first instinct was to reboot and try an older kernel because that usually fixes it. I’ve been doing this for a while for countless updates.
Why though, what does the older kernel have if i’m using propreitary drivers.
