I have had usbfs support working in 10.2, 10.3 and 11B1. Now in RC1 it no
longer works and I no longer have usb support in VirtualBox. What gives?

I did all of that except for the mount command. It was never necessary
before. Why is it necessary now? Would adding auto to the fstab entry
have the same effect as the mount command? I’ll reboot into 11RC1 and try
that out.

That didn’t work. Issuing the “mount usbfs” command finally showed entries
under /proc/bus/usb so I’ll assume for now that Virtualbox usb support will
now work. And putting the command into my /etc/init.d/boot.local file does
bring usbfs up automatically on booting so I think that problem is solved.
Now to sort out my remaining problems with VB under 11RC.
