White screen of death after recent update

Hello,

My laptop running tumbleweed and gnome will boot to a white screen of death after a major system update. On my kde/wayland machine no problems so it must be gnome+wayland related I guess. I can however start x from ttl and that will bring me to a desktop again. Invoking a update from ttl shows no updates available. Can someone help me and what logs would you like to see?

Hello,

I have Tumbleweed installed on a surface pro 3 tablet and after running zypper update on my device it booted into a white screen, only displaying the welcome window.

You need to use zypper dup on Tumbleweed.

Latest update fixed it. My guess is that it was a problem with gdm.
