I have Compaq CQ62 series laptop with AMD Phemon II X4 N930, it has 4200 series IGP and 5400 series discrete graphics card, so which version of Catalyst driver I should install, Legacy of New?
It is regarding OpenSuse 12.2.
you have 2 vidcards in you machine?
one is a onboard version I guess, and the other card a real card?
In this case I should disable the onboard version, and install the driver your other (real) card needs.
If you’re using both, I should install the driver that fits both. So look for the driver that supports both cards. If you cant find it then you my have a problem…
I’ll try with newer version, i hope that will work.
I tried both version of fglrx driver and both did not worked for me. Anyone else able to make it work?
