Well, i just had to ask this. Which sound system do you prefer with your linux? Xine, Gstreamer, etc… I for one use xine with alsa, cause it looks rock solid to me. No bugs no nothing with it. Never had problems with this configuration. Gstreamer has always been problematic with me. Doesn’t play mp3 although the plugin is installed, crashes quite often… What about you?
