Which Nvidia driver(s) should I be using?

There seems to be so many options and not quite sure if I have the right ones installed for gaming or too many. I have dual Nvidia 680’s and have begun to use Linux again since Steam has been supporting more games.

I haven’t used Linux since OpenSuse 11.1 but I am really enjoying 13.1 at this time. I should note that I do use VMware.

Here is a pic of what’s installed now. You can click the pic to enlarge it to 1080 if necessary. Is there anything I should get rid of? It seems like a lot to me.

Thank you for your time,

You have an incorrect package nvidia-uvm-gfxG03-kmp-default should be nvidia-uvm-gfxG03-kmp-desktop. The package you have is for the wrong kernel change it

Did you install by the one click? Seems that that method is sometimes not pulling the correct packages

Yes NVIDIA is in 5 parts these days.

The rest is for neuvaeu open source driver. Strictly speaking you don’t need that but it is good to have in case yo need to fallback

I believe I may have done the one click method.

I made the changes as you suggested.

Thank you!
