Where is repomd for KDE:/42/ ?

Hi,

It looks like the repo for KDE4.2 has disappeared. The url I am trying to
access, and which was working until the last day or so, is:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/42/openSUSE_11.1/

The error I am getting from YaST is that there is ‘no /repodata/repomd.xml’
file. Indeed when I webbrowse to
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/42/ there is no content in
that directory.

Did someone accidentally delete the files?

I can tell you kde42 is no longer supported, use kde43

Thanks, I missed those announcements - first that 4.3 is being supported on
openSUSE 11.1 and second that 4.2 is being dropped.

But surely they did not need to actually remove the 4.2 repo did they?
Couldn’t they just, you know, stop updating 4.2?

I’d like to echo Ron’s sentiments. I was in the process of doing the same thing today. I did find announcements about 4.3 but nothing indicating that support for 4.2 was going away other than the fact that it simply went away.
