Hi, I’m new to opensuse, moved from ubuntu to opensuse, but as i install it and using it, i’m finding difficulty in finding the taskbar and i also see there is no minimize option for the opened window. Can any body help me out, I’m using tumbleweeb with gnome desktop.
Welcome to the forums!
We don’t use GNOME (strictly Plasma KDE here), so just a wild guess.
Maybe there’s a default setting of “Hide the taskbar” set to True … so you’d have to move the mouse to the bottom middle of screen so that it appears (?).
For the missing “minimize window” option, some desktop environments default to “hide” the System Menu and Top Bar.
@faizrazadec Hi and welcome to the Forum
Press the super (windows) key, or move your mouse pointer to the top left corner of the screen (hot spot) to display.
You can configure location of the hotspot via Settings → Multitasking.
For Titlebar (Windows) buttons, use the Gnome Tweaks tool and under Windows section you can set.
GNOME in openSUSE follows upstream, so there are not many tweaks…
