Where is my desktop panel?

Well, I am a newbie on OpenSuse so excuse any errors on my explanation. :expressionless:

I am using OpenSuse 11.2 with KDE, there was some kind of plasma thing on the desktop containing shortcuts to system status, etc…
I moved it to the second monitor and after a reboot it was not there nor anywhere else.
How could I restore it?

Regards

That was a Folder Vview plasmoid, which was configured to display the contents of (don’t let me lie) your desktop folder. In order to restore it you could simply right-click on your desktop, (unlock widgets), select “add Widgets”, and then add such a Folder View plasmoid to your desktop. In order to configure it you can always right-click on the widget itself and select “Folder View Settings.”

On the other hand, if you would just like to have a closer look at the contents that you saw on your desktop you could simply use Dolphin to open the folder “Desktop” in your user home directory.

Thank you, thats what exactly what I needed
