LibreOffice 3.3.2 is out since a couple of weeks now. But there is still no LibO 3.3.2 in the LibO Stable repositoy. And only LibO 3.3.2 devel packages in YaST yet. Did I miss something, or do I have to stay patient?

I got it from the stable repo a few days ago. But then I’m running oS 11.3 64bits.
Probably a last-minute dependency issue, give it a few days.
Libreoffice is in stable repo since 24th of march

That’s weird. Of course I have imported that repository in YaST. But it shows no update from LibO 3.3.1 to 3.3.2

what feature or capability available in 3.3.2 are you missing in the
3.3.1 which is available?

I always want the newest versions of software. LibO 3.3.2 is a bugfix version and further on more obsolete OpenOffice.org code is removed. There is no new functionality.

and you have the newest version available in the openSUSE repos, right?
if you wish to have the newest available from the LibreOffice folks
then you will need to download the source from there and compile if
for your machine…
and, the same for any other application not in the openSUSE repos…
and, that is a GREAT benefit of using Linux, you do not have to wait
on anyone for anything…i mean, if you wish you can download the
entire code base of LibreOffice and write next year’s version today…

3.2.2 IS there. Check the repo priority. It’s probably lower than it should.

I changed the LibO Stable repo priority from 99 to 110. Then OK. No results as well as by refreshing the repo. Then I deleted the LibO repo from software sources manager YaST. Looked up in the software manager. I expected the LibO 3.3.1 packages would be orphaned now. That was not the case. Imported the LibO repo again in the software sources manager. Back to normal: LibO 3.3.1 but no updates to 3.3.2 were shown up in the software manager. My conclusion: LibO 3.3.2 is not in the OpenSUSE 11.4 LibO Stable repo yet. It’s stil stuck with 3.3.1

try switch system packages in the yast

that lowered the priority, the OP said it was probably already too low…
so change the priority of that repo from 110 to 98, and it should
work…especially if you use the other OP’s “try switch system
packages in the yast” see: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Vendor_change_update
counter-intuitive that 98 is a higher priority than 99? think about
standing in line to get in the door, who will walk in first? the 98th
person or the 99th?
