I have recently installed openSuSE 13.1 (32 bit i586) and have noticed that a number of applications, mostly in games (examples: tali, mahjongg) do not have any menu bars. Desktop is Gnome 3.
Are these versions without menus or has something gone loopy-dah?

Check the top bar for the application icon and click on it…

Just click on the application icon that shows up in the top bar/panel
near Activities. This is bring up a drop down menu
