where does the the repo hhttp://download.opensuse.org/update/tumbleweed/ point to?

There does not appear to be a phyical address for the umbleweed update repo for this address, does anyone know where this is re-directed to?

No it’s not, that is, it shouldn’t be… But, if your search was copied from the title, have a look at the protocol ( hhttp instead of http ). This is from my ‘zypper lr -d’

EDIT: I get an error now, whilst updates have come in through this channel only a couple of days ago.

He probably meant that http://download.opensuse.org/update/tumbleweed/ just redirects to http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Factory:/Update/standard/ (on the server).

You’ll see that if you open the link in a browser… :wink:

And I suppose the original question was asked because if you try to open http://download.opensuse.org/update/tumbleweed (without the trailing slash) in a browser, you’ll just get an error because the redirection doesn’t work in this case…
