Where do you buy M6 cage nuts?

I am talking about those screws and nuts used to mount equipment into 19-inch racks.

They seem to be cheap when you buy in large quantities online, but hard to find locally and very expensive in some Computer shops (about $15 for a set of four).

Wow, my imagination was running away with me. When I read that title I had a vision of a tester being imprisoned in a cage with a copy of 11.4M6 and not allowed out until he/she had gone crazy. rotfl!

And no, you can’t have a try of what I’m smoking. lol!

I tried to do my best to make the subject title attractive to the reader rotfl!

I saw yours right after “Unable to compile kernel on M5”. lol!

Thanks; I’ll try that.

I am still laughing at the poor tester of 11.4M6 (or perhaps still trying to get
11.3M6 to run).

I would go to the local hardware store. Even in the metrically-challenged US, M6
hardware is available. I live in a small town (~6000 people), and the in-town
selection is much better than the orange or blue big-box stores.

That was my first idea. Been there, but no luck.

Very true. Just one example: I was looking for a replacement lead for an
electric shaver. Tried three chain stores and they all said I wouldn’t find
any in the town (pop: 7,000) and would have to travel about 15 miles to get
one. I then wandered in to a small, tatty-looking independent shop. When I
asked the shop-keeper if he had any, he replied “what colour do you want?”
and opened three drawers behind the counter, one full of black leads, one
white and one grey!
