Where are the packages downloaded if i use zypper of yast?

Where are the packages downloaded if i use zypper of yast?
Can i save these packages?
Seems they are deleted after installing by default.
(/var/cache/zypp)

/etc/zypp/repos.d

you need to enable in there for each repo if you want to keep the packages or not. It’s done by setting the variable ‘keeppackages’ to 1
