I installed build120 and got the kernel oops. How can one use zypper dup to get the fixed kernel if the install won’t boot?

If you can’t boot you’re hosed. May be your information is more valuable though, you could see if hwinfo output is wanted by joining the kernel thread, on the issue.

However… most ppl can boot with that kernel.there’ll still be a fixed kernel next week & the week after, and the week after that

It’s because of the openSUSE kernel bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=705085 which “Cloddy” may have hit, according to one report the vanilla kernel works fine - See Re: [opensuse-kernel] 3.0-rc7, pretty please?

I’ve tried Build 127 - Build 131. They are not good. I’m going to wait until the kernel oops gets resolved.
We should see this resolved by the middle of next week.
