When does openSUSE-10.2 support stop?

I used to know, but I currently can not find the link. A surf did not give me the answer.

When does openSUSE-10.2 support stop?

I’m trying to decide if I should plan on updating my mother’s PC from 10.2 to 11.0/11.1 when I visit her place (a continent away) in January 2009.

I need to determine if support lasts until January 2010? If not (ie no support up until January-2010), since I only visit my mother’s place once/year, then I will have to update her PC to 11.0 (or 11.1) in January 2009.

But I’m not keen on updating from 10.2, if there is still support until January 2010. The reason is the last time I installed 10.2 on her PC, her winXP/winME partitions gave me a hard time with grub:

Unfortuntely, having a tri-boot between winME/XP/SuSE is a firm requirment (and not negotiable). And purchasing a new PC is also not an option. Hence only if necessary will I install 11.0 or 11.1 on top of her 10.2, but the windoze quirks I encountered (see above URL) are giving me a pause. I’m not a windoze user, so even simple windoze hiccups can be major for me. Add to the equation my view that a stoppage of 10.2 support is a sufficient and necessary reason to update from 10.2 to 11.0 or 11.1.

I have 6-months to sort this but I like to plan ahead.

maybe this can help? SUSE Linux Lifetime - openSUSE

Thanks! That looks like what I needed, … but the news is not good. Looks like I have no choice, … I have to upgrade my mother’s PC to 11.0 or 11.1 when I visit her in North America in Jan-2009.
