What's your favorite GOOGLE things?

1 - Google Earth. It’s especially useful here in the mountains to see the terrain of places you are going
2 - Google Maps. The street view is awesome. I can look at a place I’ve never been to before then recognize it when I get there
3 - iGoogle…allowing me to put lots of cool gadgets on my home page including a daily Calvin & Hobbes.

Google search  that’s all i ever use.

1- Google Earth - I like the flight simulator, then I can fly around
the area as well :stuck_out_tongue: Plus can upload GPS tracks.
2- Google Mail - wonderful spam catcher…

I use google earth pretty regularly.

Other then that I use google, nothing else.

Google Calendar. It allows me to sync between my pda and Kontact, and one of the professors I TA for has a group calendar we all edit/use.

1.Gmail best of its kind IMHO
2.YouTube what can one say about a video site that has everything?

My favorite Google thing is GoogleEarth. Wow I can get lost in that for hours…searching for crop marks, tumuli etc…Ok did I say I was a geek living 10 miles from Stonehenge!!!

I don’t trust Google that much now a days…so I mainly stick to YouTube and Google Search. I don’t even use my GMail anymore

  1. iGoogle - I quite like changing themes and adding gadgets to brighten things up.
  2. Google Maps.

all thing that google do is good for me… I like tere services  espesialy i like g.earth

i’m not very like iG
g.desktop is group of applications… so in windoze it was a big sence to use it…
in linux i already have beagle and gnome-do so i am not need g search.

as for google gadjets personaly i am like this… i use gDesklets before and some others desklets engines… but gDesklets was most “stable” for me… and some days i compile ggadgets… and i like them very much… to things is bad with them

  1. ggadgets for linux still beta (and many gadgets not work)
  2. they need to runned under xgl to be transperant, and this is not comfortable in some cases(i ran wine programs for example)

I’ve never been able to get the stupid flight simulator to work. Of course, I haven’t tried in months. One cool thing about Google Earth is the real-time flight locator you can get from fboweb. Whenever I am expecting someone who is flying in, I load that up to watch their progress towards their destination.

GMail, my favorite webmail.
