What's the difference of packages community and playground ?

Hi,

I want to Upgrade from kde 4.2.2 to 4.3. But in the repository I found 3 diferent items:

In KDE Factory Development (KDE 4.3 + Patches):

KDE 4 Core Packages
KDE 4 Community
KDE 4 Playground

Many questions:

It recommended to install a kde version with patches ?
What does core packages, comunity and playground means ? Do I have to install them all ?
