I’m using the ALC898 Audio chip and I noticed when clicking the speaker icon in the task tray it shows two Analog Audio’s, The one on the left controls the Volume but I’m curious to why they list two of them ?
FYI: I’m using Tumbleweed

Are you using KDE with PulseAudio? If I understand you correctly, one pertains to the output device volume level, the other to the capture device volume level. You can configure it to be displayed or not. I agree that it would be helpful if it was titled distinctly and meaningfully.
KDE yes, Ok thanks
