What sources are you using to combine file servers?
Hi
I hope I understood you but in case you want to use NFS/DRBD I would suggest following small guide: https://www.suse.com/documentation/sle_ha/singlehtml/book_sleha_techguides/book_sleha_techguides.html but there are other possibilities and I recommend that you study following guide: https://www.suse.com/documentation/sle_ha/book_sleha/data/book_sleha.html
But those two guides are both connected to SUSE LInux Enterprise, what is not what these forums are about.
@gsmart9214. Can you please be more specific and at least explain what version of oppenSUSE is involved?
Thanks for the responses. Let me rephrase my original question… does anyone have experience with commercial NFS and CIFS file server solutions and any tips on software that would help set this up?
SoftNAS came up as an option in a few other forums–but I’m still looking for responses about it. Anyone here have experience with SoftNAS–is it easy to use?

Commercial solutions?
Any commercial solution you acquire, will probably /require/ certain
hardware and operating system combination. You will not be free to apply
your own.
In that case you probably want the commercial SUSE, not the free one.
And then you have to ask on the the SLES/SLED forums (same login/pass).
