What options to put wireless speakers throughout house, streamed by linux computer?

I have music stored locally on my openSUSE box, last.fm in the browser and a lot in google music. I want to stream my music from all those sources (not all at once) to speakers throughout my house. How would I do this?

(I currently have “dumb” speakers in many rooms that have only regular 3.5mm jacks or RCA cables and would prefer to use those, but am willing to consider other options)

Will this work with Linux? http://audioengineusa.com/Store/audioengine-w3-tech

Bluetooth is what I use - I have a bluetooth receiver that plugs into an
iPod dock (we’ve got a couple iHome type devices). I can connect my
phone or laptop to the receiver that way.

I seem to recall that there’s an x-mini speaker that’s bluetooth enabled
now. I’ve got some of the corded ones, and for the price and the size,
they’re pretty good.

But can you use bluetooth to stream from room to room? I want to stream from upstairs to downstairs.

Depends on the area covered, and if multiple speakers are part of the
same “device”.
