What has happened to the exa application?

I have recently seen write-ups of the exa application and decided to give it a try. I looked it up and found this code to install it:

$sudo zypper install exa
[sudo] password for root:
Retrieving repository 'packman' metadata ...............................................................................[done]
Building repository 'packman' cache ....................................................................................[done]
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
'exa' not found in package names. Trying capabilities.
No provider of 'exa' found.
Resolving package dependencies...

Nothing to do.

So, is exa available? If so, what do I have to do to install it?

Many thanks,
Mark

You mean

exa A ls replacement

When I use Search , it shows that exa is available in the official OSS repo of openSUSE Tumbleweed and openSUSE Leap 15.0. NOT in openSUSE Leap42.3.

But it is available in a community package (someones personal home build area). You could try that.

Go to the web-site above, seach for exa, click Show community packages below openSUSE 42.3 and either use the 1 Click instaal, the Download (I would prefer that), or wait until you have upgraded to 15.0.

Thank you. Got it.

My best wishes,
