this is a forum of users, trying to help other users…perhaps you
would do more good for yourself, and others, if you were to log the
bugs you find…certainly it IS a bug if 11.3 can’t ‘see’ a RAID
setup made by 11.2–did you log it?
if not, you should: http://en.opensuse.org/Submitting_Bug_Reports
but, just coming here to us users and complaining that you have little
success does nothing for us, or for you/openSUSE or open source…

and, did you also log that bug?

i can’t find where you asked in these fora for help in getting through
those random spots of difficulty–perhaps you could point those out
for me, thanks…

sounds like a GREAT question to ask the folks who make the decisions
on what is supported and what is not, what support is dropped and what
is not…but, those folks do NOT hang out around here…
you can, however, interact with them on their mail lists or IRC, the
bread crumbs to their door begin here:

use what works for you…if that is the “Ubunto” you mention in your
first post, then stick with it…i mean, i would not go though all
the problems you have had just for a distro which looks different…
(i’ve not heard of any problems with Ubuntu stability, so i guess it
must be a looks thing making you wanna be here…)
