what happened to rc.config?

I haven’t been using opensuse very long. When googling, and coming accorss old posts about suse, I often get references to a file called /etc/rc.config.

Now, this does not appear to exist any longer. At least on my v11.2, so what happened? Did it get split up into small files and pushed into /etc/sysconfig?

Yeah, I think that’s what happened, now that you made me remember very old SUSE distros. I think /etc/sysconfig is the standard way now.
