there are 2 related to 11.3: openSUSE_11.3/ and openSUSE_11.3_KDE_Distro_Factory/
Index of /repositories/KDE:/Extra
they are not listed as official kde4 repos here KDE repositories - openSUSE, but they are in the same directory structure on the build service so it would assume they are official (what ever official means)
They have rpm’s I didn’t see in community and playground (at least for 11.3) such as audex and clementine
I would guess that they are for the stable and factory versions of KDE4 but then shouldn’t there be a 3rd for unstable if this was the case? Or do they refer to the distro, 11.3 stable and 11.3 factory
just a bit confused
It’s difficult to give an exact description but the software in the KDE family consists of a core and then a lot of other applications which are generally available for specific purposes such as education; then there are those that are new to the family and others that are not under active development. Extras tend to be those which are not part of the core distribution or of one of the specific collections such as education.
The last couple of weeks there have been lots of changes in the KDE repos. This will be one of them.
Is there a wikipage somewhere? Would be nice to have an overview all the
different KDE repositories and which version they contain. At the moment it
is almost impossible to tell which repos fit together.
KDE repositories - openSUSE
Goodluck… Going to stay on the stable repo…
