Today I powered up my laptop and I got this message. kernel:[163530.851649] do_IRQ: 1.177 No irq handler for vector (irq -1) I know, to some extent, what an irq is and does but I’m not certain what to do or what exactly the kernel is trying to tell me.

Made any changes to the hardware or BIOS settings lately? Or maybe some
configuration changes?
If you google on “No irq handler for vector” there are lots of hits…

It’s a laptop I have not changed a thing (except I removed the hard drive because I wanted to see how it hooked up.) As long as it’s not a bad thing I don’t really need to figure it out. The laptop is working fine currently.
I figured it out. I needed to push the dive in as far as it would go before screwing the screw in that held it down (the message kept repeating itself until I id this.)
